Research and publications
Ideally, my blog is updated once a week. However, while studying (I am currently writing a Masters dissertation) this is not always the case. If you have any suggestions for blog or photoblog topics, let me know!
I am currently writing a newspaper column for the Diss Express. This is a beginners' guide and is usually published during the first week of each month. I plan to post each article here as an online guide very soon.
Books, photo-books and personal research
My first book is now available in local bookshops and many online sites are advertising the release date as 28 November 2012. This is an addition to Amberley's Through Time series, in this case Diss and District Through Time. You can buy your own copy from several bookshops and it will also be available to borrow from your Norfolk library or as a reference copy at the Norfolk Heritage Centre and Norfolk Record Office.
Copies of research projects, including a study of Assisted Emigration in Norfolk 1836-7 and another on illegitimacy and bastardy records in Shipdham, 1785-1834, are lodged at the Norfolk Record Office and Norfolk Heritage Centre. I also have an index of children and parents noted in illegitimacy proceedings records in Shipdham during this time frame - please contact me for details.
Over the next months and years I hope to be adding further books to this list.
Self published research books
Books created on behalf of clients in the past remain online at the private weblinks provided at the time of the creation of the work. Books remain there for a year after publishing.
